Treatment Plan

Case Approach

This is a simplified summary of the case methodology. For complete details, please see the full PDF or video presentation.

1.

Pre-operative image

Edentulous with left mandibular atrophy.

2.

Intra-first operative image

GBR using PTFE reinforced membrane (OpenTex-TR®) and mixed THE Graft™ and autogenous bone graft (50:50%).

3.

2nd stage, 2.5 months after the procedure

Fixation OpenTex-TR® with pins.

4.

Intra-second operative image, 6 months after GBR

Re-open. Clinically observed vascularized new bone formation.

Case Outcome

Before

Observed bone loss.

After

The final prosthesis was delivered. Radiographically observed implants stable without marginal bone loss.
